The Chelavara water Falls locally known as
Embepara falls, is an immensely
beautiful but surprisingly lesser explored destination and a visit is normally combined with a trek to the peak
of the magnificent,wet,dewy Chomkund hill
about 3 kms away. The Chomkund peak provides a 360 degree view of a lush
western Ghats valley with the imposing
Kabbe hill right adjacent and of
the plains right upto the Arabian
sea which one can see on
a clear day. Definitely a wonderful place
for a day out with friends and family.
